The Adult and Community Education Department operates an adult basic education program, high school completion classes, and GED Preparation courses. Classes are held at Milan Middle School in the evenings. We offer free guidance assistance to anyone interested in obtaining their high school diploma. Most people are closer to a diploma than they think, we can let you know how fast you can obtain a diploma. Most people qualify for life experience credits. Our next semester begins Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Adult ed graduation will be held on May 23, 2007 in the Middle School Gymnasium.
Milan Community Education also offers enrichment classes to all community members. We offer after school classes, workshops, craft shows, computer classes, cheer clinics, and anything else we think the community might be interested in. Call or e-mail for more information regarding water aerobics. We also hire community members to teach any special talents they might have that would be useful to the community. Our brochure comes out twice a year with all the semester offerings, brochure comes out in early September and late January. Anyone can call and be put on our mailing list to be sent a brochure or for information.
