Milan Area Schools chooses to take part in a rigorous school improvement process through AdvancED. Our goal is to continuously improve our schools. In order to help guide this improvement process, we need to get honest feedback from the parents of our students. This survey was designed by AdvancED and is aligned with their standards for quality schools. This is the same survey used in AdvancED schools throughout the world.
Please take the time to provide us with your feedback. In the survey, you will be asked to select a school. If you have children in more than one building, you can complete the survey multiple times or you can simply choose “Milan Area Schools” and complete just one survey with a more general mindset.
Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous. Your honest opinion is appreciated. The survey will close on March 21.
MHS was honored by the Michigan Department of Education as a Reward School in 2013 for being among the top 5% in academic improvements compared to all other schools in the state. Improvement is measured by performance on the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) compared to a trend of the three previous years. MHS demonstrated greater one-year improvements compared to all other high schools within the Washtenaw Intermediate School District on each area of the ACT assessment, an integral component to the MME. Milan High School is very proud of this accomplishment and will continue steadfast efforts to maintain it four-year trend of academic growth. For more information, contact MHS Principal, Mr. McMahon.
