Mr. Upton's Computer Lab provides the students of the Milan Middle School with an inquiry-based approach to their academic interests and classroom assignments. I support my students in their exploration of the world around them through the use of technology. It is important to me to carefully structure a classroom atmosphere that facilitates the students' growth and development into lifelong learners. I believe that technological literacy is not only a necessary skill in today's world but also a marvel to learn from and enjoy. I strive to share these beliefs with my students as well as model a responsibility to use technology to benefit the world around us. Given the advanced resources available to us at the Milan Middle School, the students are exposed to cutting-edge technology, a wealth of information, and opportunities to observe and participate in all that the modern world has to offer.
