Want to learn more about your child's development?
Looking for new age appropriate activities to do with your child?
Ever wonder if your child's development is on track?
Paddock’s Early Childhood Center, in conjunction with Washtenaw Success by 6 Great Start Collaborative is pleased to offer free developmental screenings online to all families residing in the Milan Area School District and Washtenaw County.
The ASQ-3 (Ages & Stages Questionnaire) is an established, research-based tool that can help you understand more about your child's development from 2 months to 5-1/2 years of age. A questionnaire is created based on your child's age and helps to monitor development in 5 areas: communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving and personal-social.
Completing the screening is easy, just go to our website ASQ Developmental Screening and fill out the information. The questionnaire only takes about 15 minutes to complete. An early education specialist will respond to your questionnaire within a few days. Each family who completes a screening will receive age appropriate activities for the child. When you complete the ASQ-3, you will be invited to complete the ASQ:SE, which is a screening tool for social-emotional development. You can take one or both questionnaires.
Regular developmental screening in the early years helps inform parents about important developmental milestones and can ensure that children are on track.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, these screenings are FREE to all families residing in Washtenaw County.
