About the Principal
My name is Ron Reed, and I am in my seventh year as Milan High's principal. This is my 15th year working as an educator. I began my career as an English and journalism teacher at Shepherd High School. I also taught at Charlotte High and served as assistant principal at Jackson Northwest. During those years, I also coached football and tennis.
I earned a Journalism degree from Michigan State University in 1991. I then earned my teaching degree with an English Major from Central Michigan University in 1994. I completed my master's work at Michigan State University in K-12 Administration in 1999.
Despite that, I am a die-hard Ohio State fan as I was born and raised in beautiful North Ohio until my middle school years! Go Bucks!
